STEAMing into the Next Generation Science Standards

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Session participants will learn how to infuse STEAM practices and the design loop model into curricula, focusing on the use of the Next Generation Science Standards as a springboard for design challenges that have depth and meaning. Participants will have to create a consumer product using nature as inspiration, given specific constraints while using everyday consumable items. The session will show administrators how to do STEAM projects on a budget, integrate technology, and think like engineers.
