Salary Guides are one of the hottest negotiations issues currently faced by school districts. The topic is more important than ever, since the embedded cost of increment in many existing teacher salary guides is greater than the settlement rate the district can afford. In this session, participants will undertake some exercises on "sample" guides to learn how to analyze their own expiring guide as well as a union proposal.
