Workshop 2017

Learn how the Colts Neck Township School District has transformed its pre-K to grade eight science, technology, design, and modeling instruction. In kindergarten to grade five, the district’s “Innovation Labs,” engage students in hands-on activities that focus on tinkering, coding, designing, and building, as well as sustainable green initiatives, such as hydroponic growing systems. In middle school, an integrated Project Lead the Way- Gateway unit introduces students to concepts such as design and modeling, robotics and automation, coding, and forensics.
