This session will provide an overview of Sparta High School's (SHS) STEM Academy. Presenters will outline the school’s biomedical, engineering and computer science strands. The program will include the selection process and rubric, course sequence, skills developed, and capstone student projects. Special attention will be given to how classes address real-world, complex problems, preparation for post-secondary programs and 21st century skills.
