The number and variety of careers within the areas of science, technology, engineering and math continue to grow. It is crucial to begin setting a foundation early, exposing students to STEM content in elementary school. This session will explore the advantages of introducing engineering content as early as kindergarten and growing student engineering knowledge through a well-articulated, K-12 course sequence. Board members will engage in engineering content as they walk through a variety of activities used in a K-12 STEM curricular framework.
