Partnering With Your Community to Fund STEM Intitiatives

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Members of the Board of Education, staff, students, and supporting parent organizations in Upper Saddle River have a tradition of setting lofty goals for STEM initiatives and achieving them together. Participants in this session will learn the process by which board trustees can gather information on cutting-edge products, and create a vision for the future of teaching and learning; work with staff to create plans for implementing these state-of-the-art programs; and partner with supporting organizations and vendors to ensure implementation in a reasonable time frame. Specifically, we will provide examples of bringing the entire community together while working with vendors to demonstrate the infinite possibilities for education. Projects can be grand or simple, but the process can be used in any pubic school setting and for any STEM initiative.
