Often adult students with IEPs have graduated from high school and still have goals and objectives which include the skills necessary to transition to adult life. However, many districts do not have the programs necessary to meet those goals. Learn how one local education agency worked with its community to begin a program for 18-21-year-old students. Participants will explore the processes of obtaining board and community support, securing a location, building a budget and developing the program.
