REMINDER: Attendance at training sessions, unless pre-registration is required, is first-come basis. Creating an agenda via SCHED or the mobile app does not guarantee a place in the session.
The New Jersey Department of Education has developed a new system, the Student Safety Data System (SSDS), to replace the Electronic Violence and Vandalism Reporting System (EVVRS) and the Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying – Investigations, Trainings, and Programs (HIB-ITP) system that have been used to collect this data. Changes to the data collected by SSDS were made to focus data collection on the information required for state and federal reporting. Changes to the data entry process were made to simplify the process and make it more user-friendly. This session will provide information on what is being collected starting with the 2017-18 school year, why it is collected and how it is being used.
