Be-A-Buddy Program for Students Who Struggle Socially

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

“Be-A-Buddy” is a reverse inclusion program using typical peers who provide empathetic and dignified social opportunities for students with language and/or social skill needs. Using a platform of sports, these students gain confidence in the area of language, social skill and sports development through friendship and mentoring. This program provides an emotionally safe environment for sensitive students facing unique developmental challenges during early adolescence, as well as teaching peer mentors about their own personal strengths.
