Mine the Gaps: Using Data to Personalize Math Instruction

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Come learn how Rumson is using data from mathematics assessments to tailor instruction to the needs of groups and individuals in all mathematics courses in K-8. With true actionable data, teachers can predict gaps in students’ prerequisite skills and support learning of grade-level expectations in all mathematics courses. The use of strategy groups that are informed by this data and knowledge of student needs empowers our teachers in supporting and accelerating student learning. Hear how Rumson is gaining a deeper understanding of the mathematics needs of their various student populations by having access to these key metrics and is using this understanding to inform instruction, witnessing its influence on student growth, college and career readiness, and student engagement.
