To support New Jersey schools as “Future Ready”, Future Ready Schools has created a framework of 7 gears for success: Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment; Use of Space and Time; Robust Infrastructure; Data and Privacy; Community Partnerships; Personalized Professional Learning; & Budget and Resources. Participants will see how the Howell Township Public Schools gathered a team of stakeholders, comprised of students, staff, parents, community members, members of the Board of Education, and administration to go through a process that inextricably connects all 7 gears. Concrete examples of interconnected gears will be provided with actual results of those cohesive efforts. Time will be given for a district-supported panel discussion during which participants can apply elements of this workshop to their own district efforts towards being “Future Ready”.
