One thing is certain, social media’s impact extends far beyond the regular school day. This seminar will discuss cyberbullying on all social media platforms and your district’s responsibility to address this conduct. We will provide an overview of the HIB process from investigation to appeal hearing before an administrative law judge, as well as recent case law. The impact of social media and cyberbullying will be examined and translated so that each attendee will walk away with a keen understanding of what to expect throughout the process and how to achieve the most desirable result.
