In November 2016, the North Hunterdon-Voorhees Regional School district, with approximately $3.5 million worth of capital projects already in the pipeline, passed a $9.7 million referendum for critical projects at two schools. Shortly after, with a new administrator and a new architect, the district and the architect got to work on implementing and completing these critical projects, all while the busy schools, which collectively serve nearly 3,000 students, remained in full use. How is the team managing it all? This session will feature discussion with those who are making it happen, and will reveal the approach, tips and techniques that are key to tackling concurrent, yet vastly different, construction projects.
