This introductory presentation will be focused on ways to improve cafeteria operation. The session will provide overview guidance on the requirements of the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act. It will include marketing ideas to encourage healthier choices, including more whole grains and fresh fruits and vegetables, and a component that will help the audience identify goals and communicate them in a way that helps food service provide a responsive and focused nutrition program.
